Glassdoor’s recently released survey of the top 25 highest paying companies for software engineers, reveals some of the interesting facts.
Glassdoor tracked more than 33,000 salary reports from over the past 12 months, comparing salary and hiring across 20 major U.S. cities, to compile this data.
Wonder which are the best companies to work for software engineers on salary front? Professional networking website Glassdoor recently came out with a list of 'highest paying companies for software engineers' which it claims identifies the companies offering the highest average annual base salary to software engineers in the US.
According to glassdor’s the highest paying companies for software engineer is the network equipment maker company Juniper Networks.

The professional networking website LinkedIn ranks at number two on the list with an annual base salary of $136,427 for software engineers.
Yahoo
Next on the list of top paying companies is Yahoo. The company offers its software engineers an annual base salary of $130,312, according to the Glassdoor report.
Google
At number four on the list is search giant Google. The company's software engineers recieve an average annual base salary of $127,143.
Twitter
The social media giant Twitter ranks at number five on Glassdoor's list. The company which hit the bourses recently offers its software engineers an average annual salary of $124,863.
Apple
Technology icon Apple offers its engineers an average annual salary of $124,630. iPhone maker is ranked at number six on Glassdoor survey.
Oracle
